Assertion 10 confirms that the Council has proper arrangements for digital governance, data protection, secure communication and IT management. Bishop Middleham Parish Council complies by:

  • operating a secure .gov.uk website,
  • using an official contact address (parishclerk@bishopmiddleham-pc.gov.uk),
  • ensuring the Parish Clerk and all Councillors use @bishopmiddleham-pc.gov.uk email accounts for council business, and:
  • applying its Data Protection, Document Retention, FOI, Publication Scheme, IT Policies and ensuring our Accessibility Statement is accurate and up to date.
