Community Grants

At Bishop Middleham, we believe in fostering a strong, vibrant, and inclusive community. To support this vision, we offer Community Grants to local organizations, projects, and initiatives that enhance the quality of life for residents and promote community well-being.

Who Can Apply?

Our grants are open to:

  • Community groups and organizations based in Bishop Middleham.
  • Projects or initiatives that directly benefit the residents of our parish.
  • Charitable and non-profit initiatives aiming to improve social, cultural, or environmental outcomes.

What Can the Grant Be Used For?

Community Grants can be utilized for a wide range of activities, including:

  • Enhancing local facilities and amenities.
  • Organizing events that bring people together, like cultural festivals or educational workshops.
  • Supporting programs that address specific local needs, such as youth activities, environmental projects, or elderly care.

How to Apply

To apply for a Community Grant:

  1. Review the eligibility criteria and ensure your project aligns with our objectives.
  2. Complete the Grant Application Form, available [here/link to form].
  3. Submit your application to our Parish Council Office via email at parishclerk@bishopmiddleham-pc.gov.uk or deliver it in person to Anne Hall, Parish Clerk, c/o The Village Hall, Front Street, Bishop Middleham, DL17 9AJ.
